Lotus Bank is proud to announce the appointment of Gerald Wasen as the bank's Chief Lending Officer and will be overseeing the bank's personal as well as business and commercial lending activities. “His decades of leadership and banking expertise will enable us to continue providing outstanding service to our customers,” said Neal Searle, Lotus president and CEO.
Prior to joining Lotus Bank, Wasen served as president and CEO of a northern Michigan community bank. He also served as an executive managing director and as an executive vice president of two Metro Detroit banks.
Lotus Bank was established in 2007 by Indian-American business and medical industry leaders from southeast Michigan to serve the business and personal finance needs of the region with a special focus within the Indian community. It has approximately $102 million in total assets.
Wasen is a longtime Farmington area resident with long history of civic involvement, including membership and leadership roles with the Farmington Downtown Development Authority, the Farmington-Farmington Hills Optimist Club, and City of Farmington Employees Retirement Board.
